Roles & Responsibilities

The GM will have full P&L accountability, overseeing all aspects of business performance from budgeting to EBITDA delivery. This individual will lead seven core divisions—Advisory, Valuation, Sales, Leasing, Marketing, Business Development and Real Estate Development—ensuring alignment of strategy, operations, and talent to achieve sustainable growth.

The role will act as the face of the organizations, responsible for market positioning, brand building, stakeholder engagement, and driving process optimization across all divisions.


Duties/Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership


  • Develop, articulate, and execute the company’s strategic vision in alignment with the Board’s

    objectives.

  • Define growth strategies, revenue models, and market expansion plans.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to maintain leadership positioning.

  • Drive innovation and transformation initiatives across business divisions.


Financial & P&L Management


  • Own the full P&L, ensuring revenue growth, cost efficiency, and EBITDA delivery.

  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

  • Ensure financial discipline, reporting accuracy, and timely submission of management reports.

  • Identify areas to optimize costs, maximize revenue, and improve ROI.


Operational Oversight


MHD – Al Osool Real Estate Development


  • Oversee all real estate development projects, from planning through execution, ensuring

    alignment with corporate strategy and timely delivery.

  • Lead opportunity identification, feasibility assessment, and business case development.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality projects.

  • Drive market positioning, product mix, pricing, and pre-launch sales strategy.

  • Monitor project-level P&L, cash flow, timelines, quality, and risk, implementing corrective measures as needed.

  • Act as central point for coordination among landowners, contractors, brokers, marketing agencies, and internal teams.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance standards.


Talent & Team Leadership

  • Lead talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies for all divisions.

  • Foster a high-performance culture, setting clear KPIs and driving accountability.

  • Mentor senior leadership team, ensuring leadership succession planning.


Branding & Market Positioning


  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company in media, industry forums, and stakeholder engagements.

  • Drive brand positioning, marketing strategy, and client engagement initiatives.

  • Strengthen the company’s reputation for excellence, innovation, and client value.


Stakeholder & Client Management


  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, regulators, and partners.

  • Ensure client satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term strategic partnerships.

  • Represent the company in industry associations, conferences, and networking forums.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Proven Senior Executive experience in real estate or related sectors.

  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L responsibility.

  • Deep understanding of real estate markets, investment advisory, valuation, and leasing operations.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making skills.

  • Experience in talent management, organizational design, and team building.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.


Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or equivalent

    preferred.

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in real estate, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.

  • Proven track record of driving growth, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering financial results.

  • Revenue growth and profitability (EBITDA targets).

  • Market share and brand positioning in Oman real estate.

  • Client satisfaction and retention metrics.

  • Employee engagement, retention, and leadership development.

  • Operational efficiency and process optimization.
