Roles & Responsibilities
Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Cybersecurity, Network Security, Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensics, and related areas.
Develop and update course materials, assessments, and laboratory exercises aligned with current cybersecurity practices and industry standards.
Supervise student projects, including cybersecurity-based applications, research projects, and capstone initiatives.
Engage in research, publication, and innovation activities in cybersecurity and related domains.
Provide academic advising and mentorship to support student success and professional development.
Participate in curriculum development, accreditation (OQF), and quality assurance activities.
Collaborate with industry partners to incorporate real-world cybersecurity challenges and solutions into teaching and research.
Contribute to departmental, college, and university committees, as well as outreach activities such as workshops, seminars, and conferences.

Desired Candidate Profile
PhD in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
Should be Proficiency in network security tools, security protocols, and scripting/programming (Python or related languages).
Certified Ethical Hacker
Certified Information System Security Professional
CompTIA Security plus
FIRST PREFERENCE: Omani candidate
