Roles & Responsibilities
The role RAN 2nd Level Operations is responsible for the coordination, management and execution of RAN service & resource configuration, operations & maintenance activities according to the pre-defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- 2nd Level Incident management
- 2nd Level Fault and KPI Troubleshooting
- 2nd Level Preventive Maintenance
- Prepare, test and implement services/resources configuration data changes for end user service activation, restoration and / or severability performance optimization
- Software Deployment of RAN nodes updates and upgrades.
- System administration
- Node Integration/expansion & commissioning
- Customer Service Requests Handling
Key Competence Elements:
- Ericsson RAN nodes experience;
- EVO BSC/APG43L Commissioning, configuration, SW Upgrade, operation & maintenance.
- RBS6000, Baseband BB6630, BB6620, AIR 6488, commissioning, configuration, upgrade and operations and maintenance.
- Experience in RAN Tools; AMOS, MOSHELL, SHM and other RAN related ENM application.
- Huawei RAN nodes experience;
- Huawei BSC commissioning, configuration, upgrade and operations and maintenance.
- Huawei 2G/4G/5G sites commissioning, configuration, upgrade and operations and maintenance.
Deep Knowledge in:
- 2G, 4G and 5G network architecture, interfaces, protocols and signaling flows.
- 5G SA network architecture, interfaces, protocols and signaling flows.
- Radio signaling & Key Performance Indicators
- RAN solutions (I.e. Mixed Mode solutions, 5G MIMO)
- Quality of Service.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree within Electrical Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
- 5-7 years experience
- Deep knowledge of 2G, 4G and 5G access system
- Knowledge of Managed Service telecom operations practice
