Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end departmental operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project objectives.

Coordinate with Operations, Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, Engineering, and Project teams for smooth project execution.

Oversee fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities on Oil & Gas projects, ensuring high-quality standards.

Develop, implement, and control project schedules, manpower plans, and execution strategies.

Ensure strict adherence to HSE, QA/QC, and client standards at all stages of the project.

Monitor project budgets, productivity, timelines, and resource utilization, ensuring cost-effective execution.

Manage contractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain quality and efficiency.

Conduct risk assessments, identify potential project challenges, and implement mitigation strategies.

Prepare and present detailed progress reports, technical reports, and management updates for clients and senior management.

Drive process improvements, efficiency optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.

Lead technical problem-solving sessions and provide innovative solutions to complex project challenges.

Ensure proper documentation of engineering activities, work permits, and compliance records.

Mentor, train, and develop junior engineers and team members to enhance departmental capabilities.

Represent the company in client meetings, audits, technical reviews, and inspections.

Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources.

Review and approve designs, drawings, and engineering deliverables in line with project requirements.

Ensure effective utilization of project management software, reporting tools, and engineering systems.

Implement lessons learned from previous projects to improve current and future project performance.

Maintain strong communication and reporting channels with project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Drive strategic planning initiatives for departmental growth and long-term project sustainability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Engineering (relevant discipline)

Minimum 10+ years experience in the Oman market

Strong background in Oil & Gas fabrication projects

Valid driving license (GCC/Oman preferred)

Proven ability to manage 15+ staff

Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills

Proficiency in SAP and project/engineering software

PMP certification preferred

Technical & Software Skills

SAP (MM / PM / PS modules preferred)

Project management & engineering software

MS Office (advanced reporting & presentations)

Budgeting, cost control, and resource planning tools
