Roles & Responsibilities
- Support project managers in preparing and maintaining project plans, schedules, trackers, and status reports for CNS projects in Oman.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, record decisions and action items, and follow up to ensure timely closure.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, and escalate any deviations from plan to the project manager.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation including scope documents, approvals, change requests, meeting notes, and progress updates in the designated repositories.
- Coordinate with internal teams (technical, service delivery, sales, procurement, finance, logistics) to support timely execution of project activities.
- Liaise with customers, vendors, and subcontractors on routine coordination matters, scheduling, document submissions, and implementation updates.
- Support procurement and logistics follow-up for project materials, licenses, hardware, software, and third-party services, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Assist with project financial administration, including monitoring purchase requests, invoices, cost records, and ensuring supporting documents are complete for billing.
- Prepare regular project dashboards and summary reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and upcoming milestones.
- Support testing, handover, customer acceptance, and project closure activities, including collection of sign-offs and preparation of lessons learned.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 Foundation (or equivalent) is preferred .
Experience
- 3 5 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, or PMO support, preferably in IT, systems integration, or technology services.
- Experience supporting infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, software, or managed services projects in the GCC / Oman.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); ability to maintain trackers and reports; attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities; stakeholder coordination; documentation control; basic commercial awareness.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana); understanding of project governance and change control; exposure to IT service delivery environments; basic understanding of contracts and SLAs.
