Role & responsibilities
- Identify and develop AMC business opportunities for diesel generators and equipment
- Promote Annual Maintenance Contracts, breakdown support contracts, and spare parts sales
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand service requirements
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and service agreements
- Follow up on offers and close sales within defined timelines
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers while developing new accounts
- Coordinate with service/operations teams for smooth AMC execution
- Provide immediate support during breakdown situations and ensure quick response
- Ensure timely invoicing, minimize WIP, and improve operational efficiency
- Monitor payments and ensure timely collections from customers
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
- Prepare monthly sales reports, forecast, and visit reports
- Achieve assigned AMC sales targets and business growth objectives
Desired Candidate Profile
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- 35 years (or more) experience in Cummins genset service/AMC sales (preferred)
- 1014 years experience acceptable for senior diploma/engineering profiles
- Strong knowledge of Cummins diesel/gas generators and aftermarket services
- Experience in industrial, construction, and oil & gas customer segments preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and proposal preparation
- Valid GCC/Oman driving license preferred
