Roles & Responsibilities
The Quality Control Inspector shall:
Implement QA/QC activities including those of sub-suppliers works in accordance with approved ITPs and procedures, method statements and other Contract documents.
Prepare and sign-off applicable records for quality surveillance I inspections I tests.
Carry out surveillance inspections to verify processes and procedures compliance. The surveillance role shall be as follows but not limited to:
o To monitor all activities with respect to quality performance.
o Raising RFI to client for day-to-day construction activities
o Witness Pigging/ hydro test/Pneumatic test activities.
o Line walks and punch list preparation / closeouts.
o PQR/WQT conduct as per PWPS & WPS
o To ensure that the materials are from the approved Suppliers.
o To ensure close out of NCR’s with suitable correction and corrective actions.
Maintain records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment.
Ensure availability of appropriate version of applicable work documents.
Witness qualification procedures, tests and certify the results
Issue Inspection Release Note of Product/ Sign test pack (QC dossier), as applicable
Provide feed-back to Site Quality Engineer or next immediate authority in quality organization chart (where SQE is not identified) on the day-to-day quality issues
Desired Candidate Profile
Welding Engineering or Metallurgy or appropriate craft training and trade certificate
certified to ASNT I EN 473 / PCN level II in RT, PT, MT and UT techniques.
BGas Painting Level 2 or equivalent / NACE Coating Inspector – Level 2 or equivalent
equivalent
Shall have a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in inspection and QA/QC activities for oil & gas projects, involving fabrication and installation of pipelines, structural, tanks, piping and fittings for various piping class systems from piping class #150 thru #1500 systems. PAINTING/COATING Knowledge.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
