Roles & Responsibilities
Qualification:
- Shall be a Graduate Engineer in relevant discipline..
- Shall be a Registered Lead Assessor with IRCA, RABQSA or equivalent. (Where equivalent is proposed, evidence of equivalence shall be provided).
- Shall have Welding Inspection Qualification (CSWIP 3.1 or AWS- CWI) or equivalent.
- Shall have Coating /Painting-Bgas or NACE-Level-2
- Shall have at least ASNT TC-1A level II in RT
Experience:
- Shall have minimum of 15 years overall experience.
- Shall have minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas projects. Shall have the capability of developing and implementing quality system, quality plans, work procedures and inspection plans as directed.
- Shall have minimum of 5 years experience of Quality leadership position.
- Shall have minimum 5 years experience in the Middle East Region.
- Shall have experience in quality management in projects covering design / engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
- Shall have technical knowledge of inspection and exposed to multi discipline works of oil and gas construction field.
- Shall be familiar with relevant codes used in oil and gas industries.
- Preferably be familiar with practices such as Flawless Project Delivery (FPD) and Technical Integrity Verification (TIV).
- Shall have Welding Inspection and Painting & Coating Qualification (CSWIP 3.1, B.Gas, or AWS-CWI) or an equivalent certification
- Shall have at least ASNT level II in RT, UT, MT, PT and RTFI
- Shall be a Registered Lead Assessor with IRCA, RABQSA or equivalent.
Attributes: Ability to conduct root cause analysis in a business process.
Pro-active behaviors required to analyze QA trends and implement strategies to mitigate potential threats before escalation.
Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Good knowledge and skills in quality audit
- Good knowledge of MS Office
Roles:
Manage all quality activities at site, including supervision of QC inspectors and CCMS administrator.
Responsible for execution of Contract quality management system at site and specific project quality control plans.
He/she shall report to relevant Operational Area Site Manager on a day-day basis and functionally to the QA/QC Manager.
Responsibilities & Authorities: The QA/QC Engineer shall:
- Prepare, implement, monitor, revise and update the Quality Plan.
- Develop, prepare, implement, and monitor all Contract Specific Quality Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Review and monitor Sub-suppliers Quality Management Systems and quality performance.
- Prepare, review, and monitor the implementation of the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Report Quality activities as directed.
- Liaise with Company on matters related to Quality as applicable.
- Be responsible for auditing activities internal, external, and follow up of Corrective Actions.
- Be responsible for overall control, supervision and implementation of Contract quality and technical requirements; resolution of quality problems; preparation and maintenance of Contract quality records.
