Job description
To supervise stores operations ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and control of materials, tools, and equipment in line with company procedures and project requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesStores Operations
- Supervise day-to-day stores activities including receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Ensure materials are stored properly to avoid damage, deterioration, or loss.
- Maintain accurate stock records (GRN, issue notes, stock registers, bin cards).
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are followed where applicable.
Inventory Control
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
- Identify and report shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving items.
- Prevent material wastage, misuse, and pilferage.
