Job description
To supervise and control fabrication activities in the yard, ensuring production targets are met safely, on time, and in compliance with quality standards, drawings, and procedures.
- Supervise daily fabrication activities (cutting, welding, fitting, assembly, blasting/painting if applicable).
- Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials as per production schedule.
- Monitor productivity and ensure targets are achieved within approved timelines.
- Coordinate with planning, QA/QC, and stores for smooth workflow.
- Ensure fabrication is carried out as per approved drawings, WPS, and specifications
Safety (HSE)
- Enforce HSE rules and company safety policies in the fabrication yard.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure use of PPE at all times.
- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective action.
- Ensure equipment and tools are safely operated and maintained.
