Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and develop actionable strategies that enhance store profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of staff, ensuring they are well-trained in customer service excellence and operational efficiency.
  • Implement inventory management systems that minimize shrinkage while optimizing stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute promotional campaigns that align with brand goals and drive foot traffic.
  • Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment for customers and employees.
  • Conduct regular audits of store operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that operational costs are controlled while meeting sales targets.
  • Foster relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely inventory replenishment.
  • Utilize customer feedback and sales data to continuously enhance the shopping experience and address any operational challenges.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve operational effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred for a solid foundational knowledge.
  • A minimum of 5 years of retail management experience, showcasing a progressive career path in high-volume retail environments.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving profitability in previous roles, demonstrating business acumen.
  • Certifications such as Certified Retail Management Professional (CRMP) or Six Sigma Green Belt can set candidates apart.
  • Experience in managing multi-store operations is highly desirable, indicating the ability to handle complex retail environments.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and point-of-sale technology to streamline operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of building cohesive teams that excel in customer service.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset for diverse customer interactions.
  • Ability to analyze data and extract meaningful insights, enhancing decision-making and operational strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and upper management.
