Job description
We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our Oman business. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong expertise in IFRS standards, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of managing financial processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end financial operations including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management
- Manage financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support business decisions
- Monitor and control cash flow, working capital, and cost optimization
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits and ensure timely closure
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT filings, and statutory requirements in Oman
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and corporate stakeholders
- Support ERP/SAP-based financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting
- Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and accountability
Skills
Key Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in chemical / trading / manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance
- Exposure to GCC financial regulations, preferably Oman
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
