Key Responsibilities

• Deliver postgraduate-level teaching in assigned modules
• Prepare course materials, assessments, and learning resources
• Support student learning through lectures, tutorials, and discussions
• Contribute to student assessment and feedback processes
• Engage with programme teams to ensure high-quality delivery

Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Line Manager.

Teaching Areas / Modules:

Applicants should have expertise and the ability to teach one or more of the following modules:

• Life Cycle and Carbon Footprint Assessment
• Circular Economy and Sustainable Development
• Energy Economics and Sustainability
• Solar Energy Systems
• Wind and Hydro Energy Systems
• Energy Conversion

Terms and Conditions:

The appointment will be made at the appropriate level, according to the appointee s qualifications and experience. A competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered in accordance with Sultanate of Oman Labour Law.

Part-time Lecturer in MSc Renewable Energy Engineering / SEDM

Dean Faculty of Engineering

Purpose of the Position

The Faculty of Engineering invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for part-time lecturing positions to support the delivery of postgraduate programmes in Renewable Energy Engineering, and Sustainable Energy Development and Management.

This opportunity is particularly suited for Omani national candidates currently working in industry or academia, who wish to contribute their expertise to postgraduate teaching.

The successful candidates will be expected to deliver high-quality teaching in specialized modules, engage with students, and contribute to the academic excellence of the programmes.
