Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Operational Execution: Supervise the daily lifecycle of the farm, including soil preparation, planting, irrigation, chemical applications, and harvesting.

Labor Coordination: Manage, schedule, and train farm workers and seasonal laborers. Ensure all staff are proficient in safe machine operation and agricultural techniques.

Machinery & Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance and repair of farm equipment (tractors, sprayers, harvesters) and infrastructure (fences, irrigation lines, storage sheds).

Resource Logistics: Coordinate the timely delivery and proper storage of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and fuel.

Crop Monitoring: Conduct regular field scouting to identify issues like pest infestations, nutrient deficiencies, and execute corrective actions immediately.

Data Entry & Compliance: Maintain precise records of pesticide applications, water usage, and labor hours to comply with food safety standards and environmental regulations.

Safety Oversight: Enforce strict health and safety protocols to ensure a zero-injury workplace.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Plant Sciences or Crop Sciences.

Work Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in the agricultural field.
