Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with expertise in Pole Fabrication / Manufacturing to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities, ensure compliance with standards, and drive continuous improvement in production processes. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of fabrication quality checks, inspections, documentation, and process enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all quality validation documents, parameters, and criteria for the assigned department.
- Manage all QA activities within the department and identify improvement opportunities for process enhancement.
- Ensure adherence to line inspection processes and tagging procedures.
- Verify products and details during First Piece Inspection and Lot Inspection.
- Provide timely quality data for departmental review mechanisms.
- Ensure effective and efficient incoming material inspection processes.
- Handle non-conformance (NC) material closure at incoming and production stages.
- Support and guide inspectors under supervision to meet operational requirements.
- Prepare, validate, and maintain QAP reports and quality-related documentation.
- Conduct scheduled Gemba Walks within production and stores for incoming material monitoring.
- Train and develop inspectors under supervision for improved performance.
- Ensure a safe working environment and timely updates of HIRA, EAI, and other safety parameters.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within fabrication/manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Pole Fabrication, steel structure fabrication, or heavy manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools, inspection methods, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with QAP, NCR, CAPA, HIRA, and safety standards.
- Ability to lead inspection teams and coordinate with production departments.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Indian nationality preferred.
- Experience in GCC manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
