Roles & Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging music lessons (Vocal and Instrumental) aligned with international standards
Performance Coordination: Organize and lead school choirs, bands, or ensembles for assemblies, seasonal concerts, and community events.
Instrumental Instruction: Provide basic to intermediate instruction in various instruments (Piano, Guitar, or Percussion) and music theory.
Production Support: Collaborate with the Drama/Arts department to manage musical direction for school plays and theatre productions.
Resource Management: Maintain and manage the music room, including the inventory and tuning of instruments and audio equipment.
Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress through practical performances and theory tests, providing regular feedback to parents.
Desired Candidate Profile
Secondary Music Teacher | Expat or Omani
We’re looking for:
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor in Music + teaching qualification
Experience minimum 2 years teaching Music at secondary level.
Ability to teach practical and theoretical music, including performance
Strong ability to engage students creatively and build school music culture
Preferred Criteria (Important Points):
Bilingual = strong advantage (English +Arabic)
Experience organizing concerts, performances, or school productions
Ability to teach multiple instruments or vocal training
Familiarity with music technology and composition software
