Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Training Manager to join our team within a well-established casual dining chain in Muscat, Oman.



Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement training programs that align with the company's objectives and enhance employee performance, utilizing various training methodologies and tools to cater to diverse learning styles.
  2. Conduct regular assessments of training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement within the team.
  3. Create engaging training materials, including manuals, learning modules, and interactive workshops, that meet the needs of both new hires and existing staff.
  4. Facilitate training sessions on customer service best practices, food safety protocols, food quality and operational procedures to ensure compliance and excellence in service delivery.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
  6. Collaborate with management to promote a culture of continuous learning, providing resources and support for ongoing professional development opportunities.
  7. Lead onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring they are familiarized with company policies, procedures, and the overall mission, vision, and values of the company.
  8. Act as a mentor and coach for trainers and restaurant managers/supervisors, providing guidance and support to enhance their training delivery skills.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development, incorporating innovative approaches to keep the training programs relevant and effective.
