Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Executive with strong local market knowledge in marble, granite, and natural stones. The ideal candidate will independently manage key accounts, drive high-value projects, and contribute strategically to business growth within the construction and fit-out sector.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Proactively identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across projects, contractors, consultants, developers, and architects. Manage and grow a portfolio of key clients, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business. Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets with a strong focus on margin control.
Technical & Commercial Duties Conduct regular site visits, client meetings, and project follow-ups. Take accurate site measurements and interpret architectural, shop, and IFC drawings. Advise clients on stone selection, finishes, applications, and suitability based on project requirements. Prepare detailed proposals, BOQs, and professional quotations, including value engineering options where applicable. Lead or support cost estimation, pricing strategies, and margin analysis for tender and direct sales submissions.
Coordination & Execution Liaise closely with production, procurement, logistics, and installation teams to ensure material availability, lead times, and smooth project execution. Monitor order progress, deliveries, and invoicing to ensure client satisfaction and timely collections. Maintain accurate CRM and sales records, forecasts, and pipeline reports.
Candidate Requirements Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5–8 years of proven sales experience in marble, granite, natural stone, or construction materials (local Oman market experience is mandatory). Strong exposure to projects sales (commercial, residential, hospitality, villas, fit out). Valid Omani Driving License – mandatory.
Technical Competence Solid knowledge of marble and natural stone types, finishes, thicknesses, fixing methods, and applications. Ability to read drawings, prepare quantity take-offs, and understand site constraints. Strong command of Microsoft Excel for costing, pricing, and margin calculations. Experience in proposal writing and tender documentation.
Skills & Personal Attributes Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Strong interpersonal and client-handling abilities at senior levels. Self-driven, accountable, and capable of working independently. Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage; English is mandatory.
