We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Engineer to join our engineering polymers manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production processes, ensuring quality control, and optimizing the production line to meet industry standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of polymer compounding, extrusion processes, and laboratory testing.
Skills
In-depth knowledge of the extrusion process and the ability to set up and optimize extruder parameters.
Experience working with single-screw and twin-screw extruders.
Strong understanding of polymeric raw materials (e.g., PP, PE, TPE, ABS, PA, and mineral fillers).
Ability to conduct compounding processes and ensure material quality control.
Proficiency in working with laboratory testing equipment, including:
- MFI (Melt Flow Index) Tester
- DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry)
- TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis)
- Rheometer
- Tensile & Impact Testing Machines
Familiarity with industrial standards related to polymer compounding (ASTM, ISO, etc.).
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot production issues and implement process optimizations.
