Your Role

As a High School Physical Education Teacher at TAISM, you will:
Inspire and Engage: Teach Physical Education utilizing diverse, modern teaching methods and maximizing use of our school's 2 indoor competition-size sports halls, 25-meter teaching competition pool, regulation-size grass sports pitch and a full-size outdoor covered sports court, where our participative international student body flourishes in PE and sports activities. Foster Inclusivity: Create an inclusive classroom environment that values each student's unique strengths and needs, promoting a culture of respect, empathy and collaboration. Support Student Growth: Prioritize effective communication and provide meaningful feedback to deepen students' understanding and support their academic and personal development. Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with colleagues to enhance the educational experience, contribute to school-wide initiatives and engage fully with the TAISM community.

Valid North American recognized teaching certification 2 yrs minimum skills-based PE teaching experience in an American curriculum Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field Solid understanding and experience employing standards for planning instruction, assessment, grading and reporting Red Cross CPR certification (or ability to obtain it) Coaching experience

Experience teaching Physical Education to a variety of grades from 6 - 12 Experience teaching swimming Familiarity with SHAPE standards Masters degree in teaching * International teaching experience
