Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients and drive revenue growth from this portfolio.

- Retail Banking/ WM,
- Islamic Banking,
- Corporate Support,
- Control Functions and Legal.
External:
- Clients,
- External and CBO Auditors,
- Consultants and advisors,
- Valuators, researchers etc.
Principal Accountabilities:
Strategic:
- Responsible for building relationships to help grow client base.
- Collaborate with captive channels like branch banking, wealth, etc. for lead origination.
- Identify business opportunities amongst existing customers and source new prospects through networking with customers.
Operational:
- Originate NTB prospects through direct sourcing and open market channels.
- Cross sell other banking products such as treasury, transaction banking, trade finance and corporate salary accounts.
- Understand and monitor client business and financials for ensuring suitable and timely solution or corrective action.
- Achieve financial targets by growing revenue from the portfolio of relations.
- Improve client calling plans to ensure business development is pursued.
- Ensure adherence to credit, regulatory and compliance policies.
- Liaise with trade finance, operation, treasury, legal and branch banking team for seamless customer service.
Organizational:
- Provide the required guidance to Credit Analysts.
- Monitor and provide suggestions for streamlining credit monitoring in compliance with the bank's policies or guidance.
- Oversee operations by complying with the organization’s quality standards, policies, procedures and systems.
Requirements:
Education/ Qualification:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, or related fields.
Experience:
- Required: Total of 5+ years of experience in banking and similar fields, out of which 3 years’ experience as a Relationship Manager.
- Preferred: Experience in and knowledge of the GCC market.
Additional Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluency in Arabic preferred.
- In-depth technical knowledge of products and services.
- Sound business acumen and judgement.
- Advanced knowledge of the banking industry best practices in Oman.
