Sales Executive - GAC Oman

Job Overview


The Sales Executive is the face of the dealership, responsible for showcasing our wide range of vehicles and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This job is responsible to build strong relationships with prospective buyers and guide them through the vehicle purchasing process, as well as actively selling GAC products to support the distributor’s sales volume and gross profit target.


Job Responsibilities


  • Conduct the sales process in a professional manner that is both service oriented and reflects the brand image to achieve the high level of customer satisfaction while always acting according to distributor policies.
  • Actively prospects, follow all sales leads, acquire new customers, and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Approach, greet and help customers entering the showroom according to the brand image.
  • Qualify customers and build a relationship to undertake an in-depth needs analysis and provide trust and confidence to the customer.
  • Explain vehicle performance, product details, features, and benefits according to the sales process.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales efficiency and increase generated revenue.
  • Maintain CRM systems to manage the list of new / existing customers as per the sales funnel.
  • Offer and accompany the customer in test driving vehicles according to the test drive process.
  • Ensure smooth completion of the sales contract associated documents.
  • Introduce finance, Insurance, and lease products during the sales process.
  • Facilitate that relevant departments receives sufficient customer information for a smooth hand-over.
  • Facilitate that relevant paperwork, car registration and/or insurance documentation is completed according to the distributor policies.
  • Organize the handover of the vehicle according to the distributor policy.
  • Introduce the customer to the after sales department.
  • Handle customer complaints tactfully and promptly according to the distributor policies and escalate difficult cases immediately.
  • Use various methods (e.g., telephone, email, visit) to acquire and follow-up on prospective customers and compile customer contracts reports.
  • Ensure regular and prompt updates of customer database and records to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Share knowledge and best practices about the respective specialized product or product group with the rest of the sales team.
  • Gain knowledge on dealership and competitor products, features and accessories and update this regularly.
  • Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilize sound judgment in decision making.
  • Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.


Work Experience


Work Experience

  • A minimum of 2+ years working experience in a sales role in automotive industry.


Education

  • High School Diploma or above
  • Sales certifications or recognized motor industry qualification preferred.
