Job Description
Job Summary:
As an Assistant F&B Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that all areas within the Food and Beverage department are properly managed in a structured and professional manner. You will assist the Department head in order to achieve the optimum performance of each operation outlet within the Food and Beverage department.
General Duties And Responsibilities
- Take overall responsiblitiy for Food & Beverage department in the absence of the Director of Food & Beverage
- Monitor Guest feedback in relation to service, products and promotions and reviews according with Director of Food & Beverage
- Oversee all training activities of Food & Beverage department in conjuction with Training Director
- Review and control the weekly payroll and overtime sheets and monitor according to budget
- Consult all outlet managers on operating requirements and quality standards
- Be proactive during service peak times maintaining a higly visible profile in outlets
- Assist Director of Food & Beverage on reports, forecasts, budget, marketing plan, festivals and special promotions
- Interview candidates for Food & Beverage service vacancies
- Suggest FF&E replacements or additions
- Work with accounts deparmtnet to oversee physical inventories, analyse specialized reports, slow moving items and low stock list and productive norms.
- Keep informed of competive trends, new products and legislation
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
- Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
Additional Information
experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
