WRc's team in Oman are looking to expand and are recruiting for a Field Engineer Support Technician/Performance Analyst to join them! This is a full time position based at our new office location in Muscat, Oman.
In this role you will be responsible for scheduling the work for the Engineer field teams and performance management reporting and be able to use WRC corporate systems, including Microsoft Office, ERP packages eg SAP/Big Change, Scheduling package e.g Click and Power BI, to gather the relevant information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production of weekly and monthly reports for Contractor and Engineer performance to show compliance to Health and Safety and process standards
- Responsible for producing project performance reports eg Leakage performance
- Involved in 1st and 2nd line assurance assessments such as Health and Safety field reports and documenting evidence of checks completed.
- Delivering an excellent level of insight into data, what’s changed and why, turning this into practical application and influencing the business to drive and deliver change.
- Identifying trends, opportunities and risks to performance at pace. Work with teams to develop improvement plans to capitalise on opportunities and mitigate risks quickly.
- Support delivery of improvement projects
- Apply technical knowledge and skills to build credibility with the client, contractors and WRC team, ensure the right priorities are focused on and manage expectations outside of the team
Person Specification:
- Demonstrates excellent analytical skills and very strong technical experience (preferably of leakage management processes), being able to bring together operational and technical
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication and a ‘Right first time’ attitude.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data, think flexibly, problem solve, and play back insights to business teams.
- A track record of stakeholder engagement / management, demonstrating excellence in building relationships, gaining credibility and ongoing stakeholder management at all levels.
- Proficient use of Microsoft software packages to analyse and report on complex datasets
- Experience working in the utilities industry particularly aware of leakage management theory and Water Balance calculations would be ideal but not essential
- Strong technical knowledge of water processes, operational environments and working in a regulated environment is desirable
