Sales Lead (Oman)

In this role as ‘Sales Lead’, your general responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following.

  • Responsible for the Technical Sales and Business Development for the products and solutions in the territories of Oman and Abu Dhabi.
  • Responsible for achieving the assigned targets for New Sales booking, number and quality of leads and opportunities created on Quarterly, Bi Annually and Annual basis.
  • Identification of relevant Decision-Making Units (DMUs) in assigned accounts and make technical and sales presentations to DMU’s and weekly log in CRM.
  • Develop leads and Qualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
  • Manage key End User technical relationships and successfully build relationships with the account team, partners, and customers.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal team in the development of fully integrated technology solutions in support of pre-sales activities in the assigned market.
  • Review and approve techno-commercial offers and technical submittals
  • Coordinate with various intercompany departments such as engineering, services, logistics, accounts /finance etc. to achieve desired customer satisfaction levels
  • Get products and schemes specified through MEP Consultants / Clients
  • Give technical presentations (general, product and application specific) to clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Represent the company in focused business meetings and trade shows; organize and manage trade show booth
  • Vendor selection & development by analyzing the market trends & introducing new products/services to increase revenue and profits

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical sales and business development, preferably in the technology or engineering sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in assigned territories, specifically in Oman and Abu Dhabi.
  • Experience in identifying and engaging with Decision-Making Units (DMUs) within accounts, including conducting technical and sales presentations tailored to various stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of customer technical requirements, with a demonstrated ability to qualify sales opportunities and navigate complex decision-making processes.
  • Established relationships with key End Users, MEP Consultants, and industry stakeholders, showcasing the ability to manage and nurture these connections effectively.
  • Experience in providing technical leadership and direction in pre-sales activities, collaborating with engineering and technical teams to develop integrated solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.
  • Ability to review and approve techno-commercial offers and technical submittals, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company standards.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-departmental efforts (engineering, services, logistics, finance) to enhance customer satisfaction and deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the company at trade shows and business meetings, effectively promoting products and solutions to prospective clients and partners.
  • Knowledge of vendor selection and development processes, with a focus on market analysis and introducing innovative products/services to drive profitability.
