Manager- Ecommerce Growth

Oman Air - Oman - Masqaţ

Role Objective:-

Responsible for growing the traffic acquisition for Omanair.com from various paid and unpaid channels driving online sales, enhancing order values, optimizing overall digital cost of sale.



Area of responsibility: -

1. Formulate and execute strategies that drive revenue growth, user acquisition and customer retention through online channels.

2. Expert in deep understanding of customer trends, data analytics, customer behaviors to optimize media performance across all digital platforms

3. Closely working with ecommerce product, marketing, ancillary product, sales and IT teams ensure consistent growth in all digital revenue streams

4. Able to identify opportunities of business growth and optimization of customer journey and conversion funnels.

5. Analyze sales data, traffic metrics and customer behavior to identify trends and areas of improvement.

6. Ability to utilize the ecommerce ecosystem of customer data platforms, fare marketing tools to leverage data to improve quality of traffic acquisition.

7. Develop and manage acquisition strategies through SEM, SEO, email, social media and other media channels.

8. Working closely with CRM and retention teams to improve customer lifetime value through targeted campaigns.

9. Manage paid media across google, Microsoft, Meta etc.

10. Working closely with Meta search on enhancing global referral traffic.

11. Collaborate with OTAs, other in market partnerships to elevate the visibility of omanair.com and managing the campaigns with partners to improve visibility for Oman air and drive direct sales.,

12. Conduct customer research and usability studies to gather insights and utilize them in traffic acquisition strategies.

13. Identify new market opportunities and emerging technologies that can drive ecommerce growth.

14. Manage performance marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation across channels to achieve maximum ROI.

15. Conduct regular budget reviews and adjustments based on campaign performance and business objectives.

16. Define and refine target audience segments based on data analysis and market research.

17. Negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

18. Conduct regular competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.

19. Use insights to refine our offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

20. Manage and support multiple projects in a fast-paced with deadline-driven environment.

21. Any other responsibilities assigned by management and LM as and when necessary.



Education & Experience: -

Bachelor's degree in business / marketing/ information systems, Data Science, or related field with mandatory 5+ years of Ecommerce product/Product marketing/media platforms/Commercial development experience in airline industry



Special Skills & Knowledge: -

Proficiency in English (Reading and Writing) :

In-depth understanding of ecommerce products, ecommerce growth.

Proven track record of managing and growing ecommerce businesses or digital platforms

Strong analytical skills with expertise in google analytics, Semrush,amplitude etc.

Experience in paid media management, budgeting, forecasting of key metrics.

Strong thinking and growth-oriented mindset.

Demonstrated success in planning, implementing, and optimizing multi-channel media and sales campaigns.

Experience in simulating data driven models for ad experimentation

Proficient in various data analysis techniques and procedures.

Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.

Able to orient data analytics insights with the end-user in mind.

Excellent Communication Skills

Good Interpersonal Skills

Excellent knowledge on internet booking engine, merchandizing flows for improving product shopping experience.
