Location: Oman /Muscat.

The successful candidate will lead, collaborate, and contribute to the delivery of Human Capital across CLIENT Group Companies in the MENA region.

MENA HR team is responsible for supporting staff throughout the employee lifecycle in its entirety (hire to retire) across the region.

MENA HR Head role is an integral part of ensuring the smooth facilitation of both the regional business across the region, as well as contributing to the global HR team (spread across locations) as well.

▪ 15 to 20 years of work experience in a Human Resources-related role (Human Capital management and generalist HR background are key essentials; other HR functional specialties are highly considered).

▪ Bachelors & Masters (In Human Resources).

▪ The candidate shall be from IT professional services / IT Management Consulting or Large IT Multi-National firm background and be familiar with fast-paced, matrixed environments.

▪ A track record of leading a geographically dispersed/remote team within the MENA region is essential experience for this role.

▪ The candidate shall possess impeccable English language skills with regional nuances.

Engagement & Leadership

▪ Providing thought leadership on regional MENA HR needs and strategies, working with CHRO, Regional BU Heads, and other relevant leaders to design approaches, and oversee the successful implementation of strategic HR initiatives.

▪ Develop and execute HR strategies to support the long-term business and annual operating plan (AOP) objectives, including Talent acquisition and retention, Performance management, Learning and Development, Compensation,

Organizational development, Organizational effectiveness, Labour & Employee Relations, Leadership Coaching, and act as a cultural change agent.

▪ Act as an advocate, and lead change by identifying and deploying transformation opportunities (people, process, structure) on time and within agreed cost perimeters.

▪ Drive team to deliver on high-value projects; understand and provide clarity on risks, mitigations & business impact.

▪ Working with CHRO to ensure alignment with global human capital strategy as per inputs of GCEO.

▪ Point of contact for MENA HR, representing the region across business initiatives & project teams.

▪ Working closely with GCEO, CPO, and BU Heads (Within the region and across work locations) to contribute to the advancement of local office culture and engagement in line with CLIENT values.

▪ Contributing to the Senior Management and building regional employment engagement by implementing various HR initiatives.

▪ Collaborate with the Leadership / Senior Management team on global strategies and initiatives. We are providing representation for MENA on global HR programs and initiatives in CLIENT and supporting the development of the HR Operations function.

▪ Leading HCM & operations regional team, supporting day-to-day matters and tactical/strategic initiatives defined by the Senior Management.



Employee Relations

▪ Creating a fair and comfortable environment based on trust and mutual respect, advising leaders and managers on all employee relation matters.

▪ Building credibility with all colleagues particularly key business leaders through encouraging open dialogue and maintaining confidentiality.

▪ Serving as a trusted advisor on employee relation matters to senior business leaders.

▪ Providing advice and counsel to all colleagues regarding employment law, policy, and/or employee issues.

▪ Performing and supporting employee investigations when required. Ensure enforcement of disciplinary procedures.

▪ Ensuring employee termination and exit m

▪ Leading and guiding employees and managers on issues relating to performance, fairness, and culture.

▪ Managing ER/IR risk, addressing cases/issues/exceptions, and leading regional policy compliance agenda.

▪ Collaborating with all internal leaders and external partners on disciplinary and out counsel process.

▪ Regional escalation/contact point for all employee relation matters.

Human Capital Operations:

▪ Partner to offer smooth and efficient delivery of key HC operations aligned with local needs, however, in the context of a global framework.

▪ Supervise end-to-end accurate and timely administration and HR operations delivery.

▪ Overseeing/supporting internal and external audits including client audits.

▪ Partnering with the team to manage and execute contracts/ agreements/ engagements.

▪ Managing all approval processes for the regions under CLIENT’s approval matrix.

▪ Setting and managing regional HC budget in line with business growth and management guidance.


Policy

▪ Leading regional communication and supported colleague awareness of global, regional, and local policy.

▪ Providing guidance and answering questions on policy interpretation, including exception approvals and case management.

▪ Ensuring the team is current and new legislation across the region working with the Legal Team as needed to ensure compliance to local labor requirements.

▪ Working closely to update and amend policy & procedures in line with new and revised local legislation and directives, including being a trusted advisor to the local business for all employment-related matters.

▪ Ensuring uniform and equitable application of policies and procedures.

▪ Collaborating with legal requirements to promote policy application and compliance.

▪ Ensuring regional and local data management and support for audit purposes.


Recruitment

▪ Accountable for end-to-end TAG requirements of MENA region across lateral / leadership/campus of existing and new business initiatives of CLIENT Group Companies.


Learning & Development

▪ Lead L&D initiatives across the MENA region to create a learning environment across curriculum (behavioural/technical / leadership) training interventions to our associates in alignment with L&D team.


Mobility / Visa & Immigration

▪ Supervise the PRO & Mobility Team for local support of transfers, work authorization and business visa processes in MENA region.


Others

▪ Offer end-to-end support, as advised by Senior Management on all HR initiatives in MENA region.
