This role will be in charge of assisting the Legal department in reviewing contracts with a focus on commercial and labour laws. The role holder will further respond to the various legal questions and provide legal, compliance and regulatory advice when required.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Develop, assess and negotiate contracts on non-disclosure, consultancy services, terms and conditions and commercial documents.
- Ensure consistency of contract terms with company policies and goals.
- Work with the Legal Director and the Managers in the Legal Department in expediting and reviewing contracts from all relevant parties.
- Assist with managing litigation including assisting external parties appointed to manage litigation.
- Manage legal team official communications with various entities and bodies when required.
- Assist in representing the company before courts or relevant Public Bodies when necessary.

- Ability to provide reasonable operational input on legal issues arising within the business.
- Excellent communicator with gravitas to influence, persuade and negotiate at all levels, including at Legal Director.
- Ability to give specialist advice to commercial and HR colleagues.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- LL.B degree.
- Some knowledge of contract and commercial law, as well as labour law.
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English language.
- Passion to learn and to develop own skills.
