KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Actively participate in safety briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Communicate lessons learnt across shifts.
  • Perform the role of performing authority, isolating authority in the frame work of the integrated safe system of work.
  • Perform the role of platform Authorised Electrical Person (AEP) or Competent Electrical Person (CEP)
  • Worksite supervision of vendor contractors within the electrical discipline.
  • Maintain personal competency in alignment with the electrical technician CMAS competency profile.
  • Proactively coach and mentor the Emirati designated technicians, providing regular feedback to the CMAS assessors.
  • Support and develop peers across the multi discipline operations team.
  • Provide electrical technical input to process upset reports, ensuring that the PUR causes are fully understood, documented and corrective actions assigned.
  • Take the role in PMS optimisation and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Ensure spare parts and materials are available for planned maintenance activities
  • Manage platform based critical spares, ensuring the correct spares holding and adequate storage.
  • Ensure work requests are sufficiently detailed, clearly defining the scope of work or nature of problem along with basic planning information.
  • Provide comprehensive and detailed e-logbook handovers at the end of each shift and crew change.
  • Provide technical input to Engineering Queries.
  • Provide technical expertise to incident investigations as required.
  • Execute daily work schedules in a safe, efficient and diligent manner in accordance with approved platform procedures and routines, ETP’s and industry standards.
  • Perform emergency response duties as defined in the PSVM emergency response plan.
  • Review technical content of engineering work packs for all electrical related modifications.
  • Ensure Job plans, PMR’s and switching procedures are accurate and sufficiently detailed. Feedback proposed revisions to the E&I supervisor.
  • Deliver full compliance with ADMA rules of safety and the PSVM site safety standard.
  • Prepare WCC’s / Level 2 risk assessments and ICC’s in accordance with the control of work
  • To review PTW and attend daily permit meetings.
  • Deliver on a personal auditing commitment. Participating in SOC’s, BOSS and PTW/ICC audits.
  • Deliver competency of Emirati designate technicians to achieve Emiratisation.
