• Lead the HR function in the country, supporting the Country Manager and HODs in defining the HR strategy and overseeing all aspects of HR.
• Implement and ensure compliance with Sodexo employee relations programs, company policies and procedures, and local labor and human resources laws.
• Lead and implement workforce Nationalization programs and ensure the successful integration, retention, and productivity of the workforce.
• Maintain records and reports necessary to comply with company, government, and client standards and regulations.
• Provide coaching and mentoring on sensitive and high-level HR issues, development plans, training, resources, and career opportunities.
• Build and develop a robust candidate pool through effective recruitment and succession planning.
• Develop and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives in line with Group ambitions.
• Develop and implement measurable succession planning and organizational development processes for self, team, designated senior positions, and high-risk positions.
• Partner in business growth and guide the business toward becoming an employer of choice while supporting sustainable development activities.
• Work with the leadership team to implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention levels.
• Drive and implement robust Compensation & Benefits processes.
• Provide HR input and leadership in the business development process and develop strong strategic relationships with existing and new clients.
• Determine and monitor relevant KPIs for individuals and teams across the organization.

Skills

• Significant proven leadership experience in Human Resources, with over 5 years of experience in a national role involving multi-site and multi-jurisdictional responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge and experience in HR, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, local labor law, and payroll functions.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, preferably at Master’s level.
• Strong leadership qualities and alignment with the Sodexo leadership profile.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
• Qualified HR professional with a passion for influencing organizational culture, training, and taking a hands-on approach to supporting the business.
• Ability to drive and manage change in a constantly evolving business environment.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, customers, employees, management, and executives.
• Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective systems, policies, and procedures.
• Highly motivated, with a strong commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices.
• Experience working in an international business environment, with strong gender diversity, cultural awareness, and sensitivity.
• High level of computer literacy and proficiency in English is essential.
