CCDS is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team for a one-year, project-based contract in Sohar, Oman .
Employment Details: Location: Sohar, Oman Contract Type: One-year project-based contract Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site Key Responsibilities: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions.
Administer and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet security products.
Monitor network performance, security events, and potential threats.
Implement firewall policies, VPNs, routing, switching, and access-control rules.
Investigate network and security incidents and provide timely resolutions.
Perform system upgrades, security hardening, and configuration reviews.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational reports.
Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and customers to meet service requirements.
Mandatory Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proven professional experience in network security engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions .
Solid experience with Fortinet technologies.
Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, network protocols, and firewall management.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work full-time and on-site in Sohar, Oman .
Mandatory Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Fortinet NSE 7
