We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in MEP/HVAC sales, estimation, and tendering. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive bids, managing tender submissions, and supporting business development for major commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential projects across Oman. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions. Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates for MEP works. Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and project teams during the tendering process. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare commercial and technical proposals, bid documentation, and tender submissions. Analyze project risks and identify value-engineering opportunities to improve project competitiveness. Participate in pre-bid meetings, technical clarifications, and site visits where required. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the tendering process. Support order finalization and ensure a smooth handover to the project execution team. Maintain cost databases, supplier information, and market pricing for future tenders. Monitor market trends and contribute to business development initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience in MEP/HVAC sales, estimation, and tendering.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems.
• Experience in preparing competitive tenders for large-scale projects.
• Good understanding of FIDIC contracts and GCC construction practices is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and estimation tools.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders within strict deadlines.
