Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage all quantity surveying and commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and periodic cost reports.

  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure budget compliance.

  • Prepare, review, and submit interim payment applications and certify subcontractor payment claims.

  • Identify, prepare, negotiate, and manage variation orders, contractual claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.

  • Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Prepare and finalize subcontractor and main contract final accounts.

  • Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, variations, claims, and payments.

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on all commercial and contractual matters.

  • Provide commercial support to the Project Manager, identify commercial risks, and recommend cost-effective solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 9–12 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial management, and cost control.

  • Proven experience in preparing payment applications, variations, claims, and final accounts.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and ERP/commercial management software.
