Roles & Responsibilities

Head of Zone Dhofar 2 Job Content: Responsible for the safety, security, reliability and effective operation and maintenance of the Transmission system of his specific zone. Ensure implementation and adherence to the Quality Health , Safety and Environment rules and requirements. Description: Ensure compliance to the Transmission and Dispatch License and Grid code in all Transmission functions for Dhofar Governorate. Ensure implementation and adherence to the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations and requirements in his specific zone. Ensure implementation and adherence of OETC System Safety Rules in his specific Zone Assists the Regional Manager / General Manager - Transmission in investigation and development of new Transmission investments and agreements; pertaining to the demand growth that increase revenues and provide access to new energy markets Support other OETC departments in the collection and reporting of System Operations performance and status data related to his zone. Ensure continuous availability of the system, safe operations, timely maintenance, and quick restoration of any outages for his specific Zone. . Ensure availability of strategic spare parts and other parts for Transmission network Asset related to his specific Zone. Supervising the Grid Stations and Transmission Over Headlines Maintenance Contract in his specific Zone Supervising the Grid Stations Ancillary Services Maintenance Contract in his specific Zone. Supervising all Transmission contract in his specific zone. Update All Asset information related to his specific zone Responsible for defect reporting and management in his specific zone Responsible for project progress reporting and management in his specific zone Supervise and couching OETC staff in his specific zone Doing all operation activities in his specific zone as and when it is required Doing all maintenance activities in his specific zone as and when it is required Doing all other work assign from time to time by Transmission Regional Manager/ General Manager Knowledge and Understanding of the Asset Management, QHSE Management System and IT Security Standard Requirements according to ISO55001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 to carry out the assigned duties as per the roles and responsibilities matrix.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Power Engineering and/or equivalent.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in handling the transmission function, Operation, Maintenance and Health Safety & Environment during external quality audits.
