Roles & Responsibilities

The Site Architect supervises architectural works at the construction site, ensuring that construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role acts as the link between the design office, consultants, contractors, and clients.

• Supervise day-to-day architectural works on site.

• Ensure construction complies with approved architectural drawings and specifications.

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare inspection reports.

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers to resolve site issues.

• Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project standards.

• Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).

• Participate in site meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients.

• Identify design conflicts and recommend practical solutions.

• Monitor progress against project schedules.

• Ensure snagging and de-snagging activities are completed before handover.

• Verify completed work for interim payment certifications.

• Maintain site documentation and as-built records.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in multidisciplinary building projects.

• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of BIM coordination processes and clash detection.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.

• Familiarity with international building codes and standards.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities.

• Strong technical review and construction coordination capabilities.
