Roles & Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Design, document, and develop new hardware products from requirements through prototyping to production. 2. Maintain existing designs and develop variants to add features or address component end-of-life. 3. Collaborate with software engineers to ensure hardware-software compatibility and integration. 4. Test hardware prototypes; analyze and interpret performance data. 5. Generate analytic and performance reports for presentation and revision. 6. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults, and recommend repairs or modifications. 7. Oversee PCB manufacturing to ensure conformance with design specifications. 8. Implement maintenance, repairs, and modifications to existing components.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience:

• Proven expertise in schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout in Altium Designer.
• Hands-on experience with DFM, DFT, and DFA.
• Strong proficiency in hardware testing, bring-up, and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and multimeters.
• Practical experience in EMC/EMI compliance testing and design techniques filtering, shielding, grounding, and PCB layout best practices to meet regulatory standards.
• Experience writing technical documentation: design specifications, test plans, test reports, and validation documents.
