Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join a reputed healthcare facility in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of eye conditions and vision disorders while providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, injuries, and disorders of the eyes.
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans as required.
- Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the scope of practice.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results.
- Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- MBBS with MS/DNB/MD in Ophthalmology or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 35 years of post-specialization experience.
- Valid medical license/registration.
- GCC experience or Oman Dataflow/MOH eligibility preferred.
- Excellent clinical, surgical, and communication skills.
