We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef specializing in croissants, cakes, and artisan desserts to join our growing culinary team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about precision baking, premium ingredients, and delivering visually stunning and flavorful creations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and produce high-quality croissants, laminated pastries, cakes, desserts, and signature pastry items
Execute dough lamination, proofing, baking, decorating, glazing, and finishing techniques with consistency and precision
Create visually appealing desserts and cakes that align with premium artisan bakery standards
Maintain consistency in taste, texture, quality, and presentation across all pastry products
Develop seasonal dessert concepts and innovative pastry menu items
Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, and stock levels for daily production
Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and kitchen sanitation standards
Operate pastry and bakery equipment safely and efficiently
Coordinate with bakery and café teams to support daily operations and customer demand
Train and mentor junior pastry staff when required
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in premium bakeries, cafés, hotels, or pastry kitchens
Strong expertise in croissant production, laminated doughs, cakes, plated desserts, and pastry decoration
Knowledge of baking techniques, chocolate work, fillings, mousses, creams, and dessert finishing
Passion for artisan pastry craftsmanship and innovation
Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and presentation skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Culinary or Pastry certification preferred
Experience with French pastries and modern dessert techniques
Knowledge of premium café and artisan bakery standards
Experience in recipe costing and production planning is an advantage
