Roles & Responsibilities

Provide legal assessments, interpretation, recommendations, and explanations to the relevant deal team or management on day-to-day transactional matters to ensure they maintain their operations in compliance with legal provisions.

Identify legal issues for resolution, propose alternatives, and recommend solutions to achieve OIA s objectives and minimize legal risk.

Assist in and organize legal due diligence of potential investment transactions (including, but not limited to, fund investments, M&A transactions, joint ventures, private direct investments, and public markets investments) involving participation in or acquisitions and divestitures on the part of OIA entities.

Act as a focal point in dealing with external lawyers by selecting and recommending the appointment of all external legal counsel, managing and coordinating the use of their services to ensure effective management of legal costs within agreed technical and cost parameters.

Assist in the daily operations of the legal team and in the development of projects and initiatives to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal team in providing support to OIA and its subsidiaries.

Develop and execute appropriate legal strategies and solutions to ensure acceleration of OIA s commercial objectives, including those related to OIA s subsidiaries.

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, taking into account leading best practices , improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Review and assist in the development of policies and guidelines for OIA and its subsidiaries to promote effective corporate governance in line with applicable best practices and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Comply with the implementation of departmental policies and procedures, to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled.
