We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager for our client, an FM service provider in Oman. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement and sub-contracting activities across the client and its subsidiaries, ensuring cost efficiency, service continuity, food safety compliance, contractual adherence, and risk mitigation. The role will also support Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) delivery models covering hard FM, soft FM, catering, accommodation, and utilities while ensuring compliance with ICV, Omanization, ISO 9001, food safety standards, and client contractual requirements.
The role requires effective coordination with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Warehouse teams to ensure reliable supply, optimized inventory, and high customer satisfaction.
Key tasks and duties:
- Manage sourcing and procurement activities supporting bundled IFM contracts, including hard FM, soft FM, catering, accommodation, and utilities.
- Manage the pre-qualification, evaluation, appointment, and performance monitoring of subcontractors in line with contractual and governance requirements.
- Support bid and tender pricing by providing accurate supplier quotations, market benchmarks, and escalation assumptions.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to improve price, quality, and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, HSE standards, and ethical practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, marketing or related field
- Extensive experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role
- Practical working knowledge of frozen products like poultry items, meat, fish and beef variants
- GCC experience in similar role, heading/buying for Industrial Kitchens and or big catering companies.
- Knowledge of other food and non-food products normally used in the above-mentioned industries.
