The project:

PMO implementation for a mixed use development in a suburb of greater Muscat. It will comprise of mainly residential, retail areas and large areas of public realm.

Leads projects to achieve agreed outcomes on time, within budget and quality standards. Provides day‑to‑day leadership, coordinates stakeholders, manages risks and change, and ensures delivery against KPIs while meeting internal fee expectations.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Demonstrable portfolio management experience in a consultancy or client capacity, Lead PMO team, comprising MoHUP and Mace employees.
• Where required step in and manage any of the following disciplines within the PMO comprising: Assurances (H&S, quality, sustainability, Worker Welfare), Commercial (inc procurement), Controls, Design and delivery (owning centralised standards, processes and validation of data), Knowledge transfers and training, stakeholder and Communications.
• Oversight of performance and continuous improvement of discipline leads and their teams.
• Oversight of deliverables to be issued upstream or externally.
• Able to train the wider team in any of the above processes and procedures as required.
• Management of the Mace prime contract.
• This is a client facing role and will be expected to present at Ministerial Level.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven project management and controls expertise across property or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong commercial, financial, and stakeholder management acumen.
• Commitment to sustainability, with knowledge of carbon impacts on project delivery.
