Working Schedule:
- Day and Night shift rotations
- Site-based role on jack-up barges during piling operations
Project Scope:
This marine infrastructure project involves:
- Construction of a jetty for specialized cargo handling
- Shore protection works to safeguard the coastline and infrastructure
- Installation of advanced drainage systems to manage water flow and reduce environmental impact
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety inspections during piling operations from jack-up barges
- Monitor compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and marine safety protocols
- Identify and report unsafe practices, conditions, and near-misses
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to permit-to-work systems
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and incident investigations
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and daily reports
- Coordinate with site supervisors and marine teams to ensure safe execution of works
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities
Skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified in HSE practices (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE roles within marine or civil construction projects
- Familiarity with piling operations and jack-up barge safety requirements
- Strong observational and reporting skills
- Ability to work in offshore and high-risk environments
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
