We’re Hiring – Quantity Surveyor
Location: Muscat, Oman
To manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures. 

The Quantity Surveyor ensures projects are completed within budget and provides accurate cost & contractual advice throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates, budgets & BOQs from drawings & specs
Conduct feasibility studies for materials, time & labor costs
Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with budgets
Prepare, review & evaluate tenders, contracts & quotations
Manage procurement for materials & subcontractor services
Perform cost analysis for work packages & variations
Assess & certify valuations, progress claims & payments
Track variations & adjust budgets accordingly
Ensure compliance with contractual terms & conditions
Liaise with managers, engineers, architects & clients
Prepare final accounts & close-out financial reports
Maintain detailed project & claims records
 

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
4–6 years of relevant experience in construction/contracting (Oman/GCC preferred)
Strong knowledge of construction methods & contracts (FIDIC)
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD & QS software (Candy, CostX, etc.)
Strong analytical & numerical skills
Excellent negotiation, communication & reporting abilities
Ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure
