• Provide input into reports to the Project Director about quality and operational readiness.

• Independent review and providing the quality control feedback on the services like, Testing, inspection, and certification during the life cycle of a Rail Project Execution.

• Quality control engineer to ensure that the project outputs meet the specified quality standards.

• Quality control engineer to identify and rectify any deficiencies or deviations from the standards, ensuring that the project meets the desired quality levels.

• Focused on implementing processes and systems to prevent defects and ensure that the project is planned, designed, and executed in a manner that meets the required quality standards.

• His role involves setting up quality management systems, conducting audits, and establishing quality metrics and benchmarks.

• Provide confidence to customer that the project is being managed effectively and that quality requirements are being met.

• Validating and verifying the performance, functionality, and safety of various systems and components against the defined requirements and meet the specified quality standards.

• Identify and rectify any deviations, non-compliance, or substandard work, ensuring that the project is built according to the approved plans and meets the required standards.

• Certification services provide independent verification and assurance that the rail project complies with applicable regulations, safety standards, and operational requirements. Certifications are obtained for different aspects, such as the safety (Independent Safety Assessment ) and overall project compliance.

• Undertake review and accepting of the quality-related documents and processes including project specific quality management plan, non-conformance and corrective action processes, quality audit programs, hold point and witness point release processes and reporting metrics.

• Liaise with stakeholders and third party associated with quality related activities.

• Contribute to project and Program safety requirements and initiatives, and act in a safe manner befitting the safety requirements and culture

• Undertake site inspections and liaising with consultants and engineers

Skills

10+ Years of Experience in Railway domain on the signaling / Telecommunications area.

Proficient in drafting policies, project reports etc.
