Job Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join our Bakery Division. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in sales within the bakery or food industry, a strong understanding of bakery products, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets for the Bakery Division.
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to enhance customer loyalty.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and expertise to clients during presentations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns for bakery products.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to promote products and expand network.
- Forecast market trends and advise management on potential opportunities.
- Prepare detailed sales reports and regularly update management on performance.
- Implement feedback from customers to improve product offerings.
- Train and mentor junior sales staff as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar sales role, preferably in the food or bakery industry.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
- Knowledge of baking processes and products is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in the food service industry is an advantage.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
