As the Senior Expert - Capacity and Infrastructure you will be responsible to achieve growth and market share of International Wholesale business through development of sales strategies and sales plans.

Core Responsibilities



You will be responsible of the following:
Design and implement Infrastructure initiatives to support Company strategy Establish Infrastructure plans and provide input to Wholesale goals that support Ooredoo’s overall Market Strategy Contribute to target setting and provide input to measurement of Wholesale Department scorecard Support Company business goals by ensuring adherence to operating budget for Wholesale infrastructure implementation/development Collaborate with Business and Functional Units to identify Wholesale projects that meet future business needs Propose, develop and manage aspects of the wholesale commercial strategy and process infrastructure necessary to achieve the above in a multi-market organization with global partners
Contribute to the long term sales plans to attract collocation clients and promote Ooredoo brand as a preferred provider for data, mobiles, voice, access infrastructure nationally and internationally
Develop, upkeep and update the policies in line with the Ooredoo Group guidance. Manage the operational budgeting cycle and provide input to the budgeting process Review monthly, weekly, and annual reports to ensure adherence to the operating budget of the International Wholesale Business Formulate strategies that result in positive financial impact for the organization and mitigates financial and operational risks Provide input to funding, expense, cash flow and budgetary controls Develop sales planning process by establishing sales targets and monitoring sales activities of data capacities nationally and internationally to business partners Overall responsibility for growth and expansion of wholesale international business Create partnerships and agreements with international companies drive profitable new business of international telecommunications traffic/data between the Sultanate of Oman and the world Synergize with the Ooredoo Group to meet and exceed the business opportunities Develop a roadmap to provide alternative lines for international telecom network, as well as upgradeable transmission facilities in support of Internet, voice, roaming, data and content Identify opportunities for establishing agreements with international companies to facilitate the international telecom traffic especially in the area of submarine cables and transit access Oversee planning of additional cable landings to extend Ooredoo’s reach to all continents and establish direct access with GCC/ other OPCOs to extend capacity business sales Provide guidance and ensure that the Wholesale complies with Ooredoo's policies, processes, practices and systems Identify development needs and support their delivery to ensure the highest levels of performance across the department. Build opportunities for Wholesale team members to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives Development of internal resources for future in house functions

Skills Required



Deep/extended knowledge of wholesale telecommunications domain knowledge Thorough understanding of International Wholesale market Partnership Development Negotiating Agreements Lobbying Product Development and implementation Strategy Development and implementation Revenue achievement and modelling Project management Relationship Development Leadership Communicating Effectively Negotiation skills

The Person



You should have a minimum of 6 year experience in Sales and Procurement of International Capacity and Submarines at least 3 years or more with the major international company in wholesale business domain with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Technology Management.
