Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager

Experience: Min 1 to 5 years

Experience in Oman market

Location: Oman

Job Type: Full-time

Industry: Steel Manufacturing, Fencing or related Industry

Salary- 830 - 1000 OMR


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer mapping: Identify opportunities to sell a product/ service best suited to the needs of clients. Understanding the customer from a business point of view, identifying the point of contact to crack the deal, maintaining client contact data
  • Solution Designing: Need identification & understanding of the problem statement and propose suitable solution to the client Ensure timely collection
  • Client Communication: Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs, solving client problems throughout the process/ project Closing the deal: Analyzing cost & sale, negotiating contract terms, and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
  • MIS: Preparing timely reports Quotation follow-ups and timely updating in CRM
  • Interdepartmental coordination & collaboration: Coordination with Sales Support, Project management team, Estimation, Purchase, Accounts, Logistics as well as Plants people for smooth execution of the project
  • Importer Liaison: Understanding client’s requirements as regards quality, labeling, packaging, packing, and markings on the export products as well as delivery goods. Keep up with ever-changing Government Policies and Tariffs on Importation of Goods
  • MAS documentation: Preparing and submission of MAS documents to various stakeholders as per project needs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 1 to 5 years of Experience
  • Experience in the Oman market is a prerequisite.
  • Project sales/Value-based selling, Direct, Institutional Sales, OEM preferred.
  • Experience in specifying products with consultants is preferred.
  • Selling to civil contracting companies, MOT, ROP, various ministries, municipalities is preferred
  • Steel Manufacturing Industry
