Analyst - HR Operations

JOB PURPOSE

Job holder is responsible for managing all incoming employees needs regarding HR administrative related issues, and support HR functions in documentation, database, reports, dashboards, and other services To ensure the delivery of section targets.


Responsibilities

2.1 Deliver quality technical user support to enable the HRA teams to operate efficiently

  • Provide regular updates and maintenance of employee data within the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity with SAP records.
  • Resolves user problems by communicating with the user and actioning the necessary technical support to enable the user to work efficiently.
  • Provides month end processing checks and ensure data is accurate
  • Identify, recommend, and implement enhancements to the HRIS to streamline processes and increase data accuracy.
  • Stay updated with the latest HRIS advancements and recommend integrations or updates to enhance system functionality.
  • Conduct periodic audits of HRIS data to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies, correcting data as necessary to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Highlights any deviances from SOP’s and recommend corrective measures.
  • Provides data for monthly reports.
  • Maintenance master data changes in SAP.
  • Manages all SAP transactions (delegation of authority process , shift change etc.).
  • Provides centralized human resource services spanning and other transactions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external HR customers and respond to all general human resources questions including payroll questions, interpretation of human resources policies and procedures, HR system navigation questions, invoicing and completing various audits for compliance accuracy.
  • Develop self-service tools and resources within the HRIS to empower employees with easy access to HR information and reduce administrative overhead.
  • Optimize the employee experience by improving user navigation and troubleshooting common system issues.
  • Establishes standards and procedures for handling employee questions, transactions and administration of human resource programs.
  • Responds to incoming correspondence from employees or managers for all HR related inquiries.
  • References company policies and procedures to ensure accuracy of response and to offer all available information.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all HR related information.
  • Maintains knowledge of organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Provides consultation related to HR operations and policy to employees.
  • Educate employees regarding their compensation and benefits.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires while ensuring they have a positive experience. Respond to candidates', hiring managers', and recruiters' general onboarding questions, arranges candidate travel, generates offer letters, coordinates the completion of new hire paperwork, and works with multiple stakeholders to procure equipment for the new hire s start date.

2.2 Gather and analyze data for reports against KPIs

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from the HRIS, focusing on employee metrics, turnover rates, and compliance-related data.
  • Analyze HRIS data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Take initiative for SAP-automation check various SAP reports and advice for changes.
  • Provide data in the format required for monthly reports.
  • Leverage HRIS data analytics to identify trends and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate data insights effectively to HR leadership. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀

2.3 Action the SA Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures to maintain high EHS standards

  • Action the SA EHS safety routines for his/her work area.
  • Action regular inspections to ensure safety. Raise notifications.
  • Maintain SA housekeeping standards (5S) in his/her work area


Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, HR, or other related field plus 3 years of relevant experience preferably in a HRIS capacity. Must be in SAP.
  • Must have ability to analyze and interpret data to ensure accurate and meaningful reporting.
  • Well- developed technology skills including Microsoft Office (Intermediate level) and SAP HR Modules (Intermediate level).
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • The job requires experience in HR and MIS competency
