As a Field Operator, you will learn how to spool and band electrical power cables utilized on ESP systems in coordinated effort and procedure. with installation engineer and rig operators.
As a Field Operator - Artificial Lifts, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting pre-installation checks to verify all tools and equipment are available and in good condition.
- Participateing in Toolbox Talks (TBT) to discuss installation procedures and safety measures.
- Setting up the cable reel and spooler, ensuring secure connections and proper tightening of safety clamps.
- Transporting all necessary installation equipment to the rig floor.
- Assembling the gauge cable head according to procedures, ensuring all connections are secure to maintain system integrity.
- Connecting gauges to completion tubing, ensuring tight and leak-proof connections.
- Supervising sheave lifting operations closely and maintain vigilance regarding cable safety during the operation.
- Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate the operations safely.
- Operating Pneumatic spooler following installation procedure.
- Installing cable bands and clamps as required using banding machine /clamp gun.
- Conducting thorough functionality test to ensure proper operation and data integrity of gauge systems.
- Documenting installation/POOH steps, challenges faced, and testing results for future reference.
- Participating in post-installation reviews, discussing challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Completing accurate JOB reports and submit them to supervisors as required.
- Cleaning installation equipment after completing the job.
- Carrying preventive maintenance to pneumatic tools.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Technical diploma or Bachelor's in a related field
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience with artificial lift- preferably with downhole monitoring system.
- Have a general knowledge of machines, tools, and banding materials, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Have a strong problem-solving skills.
- Have a Good customer service skills.
