Our major food production client is seeking a Head of Inventory & Warehouse to lead and optimise warehousing operations and inventory management across multiple facilities. This role is based in Muscat, Oman, and comes with a generous benefits package:

About the Role:

As Head of Inventory & Warehouse, you will oversee all warehousing policies, processes, and operations, ensuring the effective management of raw materials, finished goods, spare parts, and silo storage. Reporting to the GM Supply Chain, you will lead a team of key warehouse leaders and supervisors to drive efficiency, safety, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Develop and implement procedures to optimise stock levels, conduct audits, and collaborate with procurement and sales for accurate demand forecasting.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee receiving, storage, dispatch, and logistics, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Team Leadership: Motivate and coach warehouse staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Technology Utilisation: Leverage advanced systems to automate operations and improve efficiency.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, analyse trends, and report to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in inventory and warehouse operations, with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
• Expertise in raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts management.
• Proficiency in logistics, data analytics, and warehouse management systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with fluency in English (Arabic preferred).
